Deno joins Cloudflare: two different transition clocks

Ryan Dahl announced on October 9 that the entire Deno team is joining Cloudflare. The runtime gets monthly bug and security fixes for one more year; Deno Deploy closes after six months.

Deno stays open source. Paid Deploy customers get migration support to Workers; JSR continues on Cloudflare infrastructure, and rusty_v 8 remains supported.

Hosting users need a migration plan; self-hosting users need a maintenance plan. Installed software does not immediately stop working. No precise shutdown day was stated. This is a previously unselected October 9 development.
